Helsinki Roosters are the Champions of the Finnish Maple League in 2024!
The Roosters defeated the Seinäjoki Crocodiles by a score of 49 – 14 and went on to secure the club’s 23rd national championship. The win ended a five-year dry spell, as the club’s last championship was won back in 2019. The Roosters finished the regular season in first place and proceeded to end their season lifting the trophy in a convincing manner.
Wide receiver Johannes Jauhiainen led the receivers with 121 yards and scored three touchdowns in the final. Quarterback Ambro Urjansson became one of the few Finnish QBs to lift the trophy and he was also selected as the Maple Bowl MVP after throwing five touchdowns.
